Lake St Clair Quiet Weekend Memorial Day Saturday 2018
The parking lot at Harley Ensign DNR launch was hardly full on Memorial Day Saturday, May 27th.

The Lake was no different, in spite of some popular bass spots that were loaded by boats. One report from a Shores resident went like this, “From this AM around 6:00am till now, there have been 50 to 60 boats (around 11 Mile).”
It’s a 50/50 proposition as to whether it will be busy on the holiday. My theory is that many folks head up-north for the long holiday. You can see the evidence that they are definitely not on Lake St. Clair.

The Lake was nearly flat calm all day

It is normally wall-to-wall boat traffic going in and out of the Clinton River on an average summer weekend at 3pm

Finally, on the way out around 4pm, you can see there is still plenty of space in the parking lot
