Lake St. Clair Water Levels Continue to Exceed Projections, May 2016 Report
If there ever was a trend this season this is it: The U.S. Corps of Engineers monthly expected water level projections continue to be busted with every published report. This latest report for May shows that we have exceeded the expectations for April and the high point of the projections have been adjusted upward for the rest of the season.
If you have been out lately, the “extra” water has been noticeable. Especially when comparing the water level along known shoreline features. This trend will open up new fishing spots it areas that were previously too shallow to hold fish, or were even dry land as much as a year ago.
